Texas Pickin' Park Rules!!!

1) This is an acoustic instrument jam.  If you bring an amplifier people will look at you weird and call you funny names.  Seriously, leave the amp at home.

2) You will find all styles of music played on acoustic instruments.  You can play by yourself or you can join a jam with others.  If you join a jam, be willing to take turns and let others take solos on your songs, otherwise go play by yourself.

3) We provide some folding chairs but they are for the directed jams and workshops.  Please bring your own chair.

4) If you bring it, don’t leave it (unless it's a pre-war Martin). 

5) If you come early you’ll be put to work. 

6) You don’t have to bring anything but here’s a list of what you might bring:

• food and drink
• musical instruments
• lawn chairs and/or jamming chairs
• a friend, or thirty friends

 7) Sometimes we’ll have food and merchandise but if not, there are small grocery stores and restaurants in town with good food and reasonable prices (actually great prices).

 8) This is a family-friendly event.  Don’t come out here to get drunk and stoned, even if you bring your family.
